An invented account, not a case file on record here: a horror novelist whose books are read by millions, whose fiction turns out, over the course of the picture, to be substantially true, and whose readership begins reshaping itself around that fact well before anyone involved is prepared to admit it. The Archive notes only that this describes a situation it has spent considerable effort not becoming, and declines to elaborate further.
