The Void (2016)

No specific chronicle or dossier behind this one, and the resemblance is atmospheric rather than pinned to a named case: a rural hospital, a robed cult, and geometry that shouldn't hold together the way it does. On record from one of the two directors: the production took shape while he was working at a studio one floor below an unrelated, never-completed Lovecraft adaptation, and has said outright that proximity is where the film's imagery came from. Filed on that basis, at the same general remove as the Archive's other tone-only occurrences.
