The White Ship

A lighthouse keeper boards a ghostly vessel that appears only under the full moon, and sails with its silent captain through a string of increasingly perfect dream-lands before growing restless with even the best of them. Pushing on toward a legendary land no other passenger has ever asked to see costs him the ship, the captain, and the ocean's voice all at once — and leaves him back at his lighthouse with no proof anything happened at all, except that it stopped happening.
