The White Ape-Princess
Also on file as: The Jermyn Ancestor
A pale, humanlike ape said to have ruled a forgotten Congolese city as its queen, and to have borne a Jermyn explorer's child sometime before his 18th-century expedition returned to England. Preserved and eventually shipped home as a curiosity nearly two centuries later, the mummified remains settle, definitively and unkindly, exactly which side of the family the Jermyn features come from.
