Kilderry Bog
An Irish village whose bog conceals the drowned remains of a much older settlement, left alone by every generation of locals until one returning landowner decided draining it was worth the risk. The Archive's account of that decision does not describe him as available for comment afterward.
Whereabouts: A bog-ringed village in County Meath, Ireland, built around an ancestral castle and the peat bog it borders.
Access: By ordinary travel to rural County Meath; the bog itself becomes considerably less passable once drainage work starts disturbing whatever is underneath it.
