The Call of Cthulhu
A man sorts through his late granduncle's papers and finds three threads pulling toward the same abyss: a sculptor's fever-dream carving, a swamp cult raided by police in Louisiana, and a sailor's account of an island that should not exist rising from the Pacific. Piecing the threads together costs him his peace of mind and, eventually, his life.
