A presence family records call 'the thing with the blemished eye,' documented marking and eventually killing three generations of one Arkham household before vanishing from the record for over a century. Its return is confirmed by two survivors, neither of whom can describe what attacked them beyond noting that it had, at various points during the attack, entirely too many shapes to be any one thing.
