The Unnamable
A writer of weird fiction and his skeptical friend argue, seated in an old Arkham burying ground at dusk, over whether a truly indescribable horror could exist outside of bad prose. The writer's own family diary — describing a centuries-old thing with one wrong eye that marked and unmade three generations before it was driven off — turns out to be background research rather than argument, once the same presence answers the debate directly from the derelict house next door.
