Yog-Sothoth

Also on file as: The Lurker at the Threshold · The Opener of the Way

Described less as a being with a location than as a condition of existence — an entity coterminous with all time and space, appearing (when it appears at all) as a mass of iridescent, shifting spheres. Yog-Sothoth is said to be the key and the guardian of the gate between this reality and the space beyond it, and can father offspring with mortals under the right ritual conditions.
