The Haunted Palace (1963)

Released and marketed as an Edgar Allan Poe adaptation — the title is lifted from an unrelated 1839 Poe poem, and the closing credits misspell Poe's own name in the process of crediting him for a story he didn't write. The Curwen–Ward account underneath is otherwise recognizable. Every other scrub on file alters where something happened; this one altered who gets credit for knowing it.
