The Festival
A man returns to the ancestral Massachusetts town of his forefathers to take part in a Yuletide rite he's obligated to attend once a generation. The townsfolk who lead him underground for the ceremony are welcoming enough, right up until he sees clearly what they — and the thing they ride to get there — actually are.
