Mi-Go

Also on file as: The Outer Ones · The Fungi from Yuggoth

Crab-like, fungoid beings that fly between worlds on membranous wings and mine rare minerals from Earth's more remote mountain ranges. The Mi-Go are capable of surgically removing a living brain and sustaining it indefinitely in a specialized cylinder, which they present — not always honestly — as a form of interstellar travel on offer to cooperative humans.
