The Whisperer in Darkness (2011)

Shot in the Society's now-established period style — this time closer to a 1930s studio sound picture than the earlier production's silent format. The first two acts track the chronicle closely, down to the Vermont flood of 1927. The third does not: cultists, a gateway to Yuggoth, and an ending that seals the protagonist's brain into a cylinder rather than letting him escape. None of that appears in the published record. The Archive has stopped assuming it's simply invention.
