The Enchanted Wood

A stretch of old forest whose surface calm belies a Zoog population, and a border with the Gugs' subterranean city, that the wood itself seems to know better than to mention. Visitors are advised to keep to the road and not ask too many questions about what the trees have seen.

Whereabouts: A dense wood on the Dreamlands road between Ulthar and the underground realm of the Gugs, home to the native Zoog population.

Access: By the ordinary dream-road out of Ulthar; the Zoogs resident there are more curious than dangerous unless provoked, or under orders.
