Pale, kangaroo-limbed scavengers of the Vale of Pnath, distinguished from the ghouls they superficially resemble mainly by an unsettling absence of nose and forehead. Reflexively hostile on waking, and willing, in sufficient numbers, to bring down prey considerably larger than themselves — including, on one recorded occasion, a gug sentry twenty times their size.
