The Moon (Far Side)

A grey, fungoid territory governed by the moon-beasts and given a wide berth by everyone else in the Dreamlands with the sense to avoid it. Its one recorded visit by an unwilling human party ended in the single largest engagement the Cats of Ulthar have on record, and no return expedition has been proposed since.

Whereabouts: The far side of the moon as reached by Dreamlands sea route — not, the Archive stresses, the same moon charted by any waking-world observatory.

Access: By captured slave-galley only, under moon-beast crew, on a route no willing passenger has yet reported taking twice.
